THE OPPORTUNITY

The SurveyMonkey DEI team wanted to deepen its focus on leadership development for historically underserved and underrepresented employee populations in line with its goal of having of having a more diverse leadership team. At the time, SurveyMonkey did not provide leadership training for senior leaders and thus looked externally for a partner.

THE SOLUTION

SurveyMonkey chose The Leadership Consortium to support its strategy given TLC’s global reach, curriculum taught by tenured HBS professors, and because TLC gave SurveyMonkey leaders direct access to an external global network of diverse senior executives across multiple industries. TLC’s flagship program helped the SurveyMonkey team look beyond hiring, and shift its focus to the retention and development of diverse talent. SurveyMonkey provided its participants with 1:1 Coaching along with the TLC Leaders Program to accelerate impact.

THE IMPACT

SurveyMonkey's partnership with TLC has helped the company bring its leaders together as a team. These leaders are more confident, capable and ready to lead their respective teams into the future. Since 2018, SurveyMonkey has sent 45+ leaders through The TLC Leaders Program and TLC has delivered more than 800 hours of classroom and coaching to support these employees. Since the start of the partnership, SurveyMonkey’s work with TLC represents a $6k+ per employee investment. Unsurprisingly, SurveyMonkey participants gave TLC a world class NPS score of 65.
